Terms of use
The rules for using InsiderBeacon. Please read them, especially the parts about investment advice and the data.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
About these terms
These terms apply when you use the InsiderBeacon website at insiderbeacon.com and the InsiderBeacon app at app.insiderbeacon.com (together, "InsiderBeacon"). InsiderBeacon ("we", "us") is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By creating an account or using InsiderBeacon, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data.
What InsiderBeacon is
InsiderBeacon reads the Form 4 filings that company insiders send to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), picks out open-market purchases, and scores and groups them. You can follow insiders and tickers, get alerts, run backtests on past purchases and ask an AI analyst about a trade. We are not a broker, an investment adviser or a financial planner, and we are not connected to the SEC or to any company shown in InsiderBeacon.
Not investment advice
Everything in InsiderBeacon, including filings, scores, alerts, backtests, case studies and AI analyst answers, is general information for education. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Insider purchases can and do lose money, and past results, including backtests, don't predict future returns. You are responsible for your own investment decisions. Consider talking to a licensed financial adviser before you invest.
The data
Filings come from the SEC's EDGAR system. Filings can be late, amended or wrong, and our reading of them can contain errors. Scores, clusters, returns and backtests are our own calculations and are estimates. Backtests are hypothetical: they leave out trading costs, taxes and slippage, and they may leave out companies that later stopped trading. Prices can be delayed or wrong. The AI analyst uses an AI model that can make mistakes or leave things out, even when it sounds confident. Before relying on any figure, check the original filing on sec.gov.
Your account
You must be at least 18 to use InsiderBeacon. Use an email address you control, keep your password secret, and don't share your account. You're responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has used it, change your password and tell us straight away.
Free and Pro plans
The Free plan costs nothing. Its limits, such as the 24-hour delay and the number of follows and AI breakdowns, are shown in the app and may change. Pro isn't available yet. Before we charge for it, we'll update these terms to explain payments, free trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds, and you'll see the price before you pay.
Alerts
We try to send alerts quickly, but we can't promise that every alert arrives, or arrives on time. Alerts depend on the SEC, our servers and outside services such as browser push services, Telegram and email providers. Don't rely on InsiderBeacon alone for anything time-critical.
Fair use
Use InsiderBeacon for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't:
- copy, scrape or download data in bulk, or use bots or scripts to access InsiderBeacon
- resell, republish or share our data, scores or AI answers, or use them to build a competing product
- try to break, overload or probe InsiderBeacon, or get around its security or plan limits
- reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it
- open extra free accounts to get around limits, or sign up with false details
- use InsiderBeacon for anything unlawful, including market manipulation
Our content
We own InsiderBeacon, including its software, design, scores, text and case studies. As long as you follow these terms, we give you a personal right to use it that you can't transfer to anyone else. SEC filings themselves are public records, and these terms don't limit your right to get them from the SEC.
Other services
InsiderBeacon links to and works with services we don't control, such as sec.gov, Telegram and your browser's push service. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we're not responsible for them.
Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features, change plan limits, or pause InsiderBeacon for maintenance. If we close InsiderBeacon altogether, we'll try to tell account holders in advance.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts InsiderBeacon or other people at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.
No guarantees
InsiderBeacon is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it will suit any particular purpose.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses that come from using InsiderBeacon, including decisions based on its data, alerts or AI answers. Our total liability for any claim about InsiderBeacon is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to put it right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email or in the app before the changes take effect. If you keep using InsiderBeacon after that, the new terms apply.
